the teachings held on to me.
more so than the emotions and i did not have family in the organization to tie me down.. disconnecting yourself from watchtower thinkwhen you first discovered what the society was behind the scenes how long did it.

I still have mild relapses now and again but they are few and far between. It did however take some five or six years to "feel comfortable" in my non-jwishness.

Christendom is likened to a sucker that has fallen to the ground. Would you pick it up and eat it?

Any apology they would ever feign would be insincere and so of no value. I mean, if they have no clue as yet as to the millions of lives they have negatively affected then there is no reason to believe they will ever own up to the harm they've inflicted. ... or something.

if we're lucky, 5 minutes of actual personal awareness. The rest is just performing the play.
How odd. We get only five minutes of personal awareness and yet fifteen minutes of fame.
maybe it's just my math is off.

Dun Dun Dunnnnnn!!!
by Lumptard inhad a dream last night about my self righteous step dad's jw ramblings...talking about things that didn't make any logical sense.....then i woke up, looked at my clock and it read 6:07 on the dot.....just thought it was kinda funny.

I use to notice the time at 6:07 very often and it had me spooked - so to speak. It was like this reminder two times per day that I was not one of the elite group anymore. I have since let that 607 superstition go and now tend to look at the clock when it says 7:11. So instead of time reminding me of death and destruction I now think of slurpees, sodas and hot chocolate on a winters day.

That is messed up but, looking for the humor in there, that phone call transcript reads like a Dragnet script.

Does anyone else have a pet who loves tea?
My cat likes to stick his head into my tea every chance he gets. I don't think he really "likes" tea, he just likes to annoy me.

Perhaps it was actually more of a financial statement? Jesus saves - and you should too.
